Hi I am a relativley new user, I am into 80's movies and only buy Blu-Ray versions.
I am using the Retro Assistant, however the retro use/look of it kind of bugs me not so much the look but when the results are displyed they all look like they have been cursor highlighted green even if you don't have the mouse hovering over the result, when you do hover the mouse cursor the whole selection is highlighted green.
That's what bugs me, it detracts from my useability of the site.
Is there a way to remove this? And have the assistant present just normal colours without the green highlighting?

thanks

Haha! I'm guilty for the design of that!

The idea was that it's a device from the 80s.. And in the 80s, ATM's.. computers etc all seemed to have a green screen...

However, I know some ppl either don't get the joke or don't think its funny... [Wink] So they can use google chrome, which can't do the green overlay [Wink]

Sorry you don't like it. [Frown] Any time you step outside the norm, some people will think its cool, some ppl will hate it.. I'd prefer to always try and be different, but I understand that some people will not like it...

On my "to-do" list is a modern looking version that people expect.. like all the other sites have... God knows when it will get done [Frown]

PS: Whate does everyone else think .. And dont just comment if you hate it! Make the effort to just say if you actually like it [Wink]

Wow Nick - five smileys in one post? Is that a record for you?

I hate it.

Kidding! It looks like something from the 80's, so it fits right in (as far as I'm concerned). Works fine, too.

He had ten, but the five-smiley board limit forced him to downsize. Hoist by his own petard.
