I am looking for the name of a movie which I believe was from the 80's. It was about a bunch of city kids looking for a place to hang and find a old house in the country that they end up renovating. All kinds of fun music is in this. There was an older gentleman in this movie (he has been in lots of other movies as well) that sided with the kids when the authorities tried to stop the renos. Please, if you know the movie name, I would appreciate it!

Another one where the kids did up the house,. and the old guy (in fact, the entire town) were against them, was Elvira, of course.....

Both real good movies.
