I rented this the other day: my husband was out of town and I figured I could watch it with my daughter.
I got one or two laughs out of it but not a whole lot more.
The most interesting part of the whole experience was my daughter started crushing on Fred Savage! How upset she was when I told her hes now old enough to be her father! She didnt believe me but a visit to his IMDB page confirmed he's in his 30s and now directing those NICKELODON shows she watches, ones like ZOEY 101 and NED'S DECLASSIFIED SCHOOL SURVIVAL GUIDE.

Hee hee. Mamamia, I watched this a couple years ago and it just wasn't the same. I'm glad your daughter enjoyed it though!

I prefer Like Father, Like Son much more, but for some reason Vice Versa still gets the most press.

Yes...I have to agree with you on that one. It helped that both Kirk Cameron and Sean Astin were in the movie because I thought they were both so cute. I loved Dudley Moore in the movie - the scene where he sets the couch on fire still makes laugh outloud.

Not the best Fred Savage kid movie by far..but in his defense I think it was more Reinhold's performance that killed the movie for me.

You mean mugging and acting like he was mentally challenged? Note that his son never acts like that before or after the changeover.

I saw this today for £3 and decided not to buy it. I just knew that if I watched it now it would kill it for me.
