Now I liked some Disney movies as a kid (e.g. 'The Jungle Book', 'Sleeping Beauty') but was never a huge fan. 'The Black Cauldron' was a movie that caught my attention almost immediately, it was great entertainment and fast paced, rip roaring adventure.

Collected the stickers and toys that were buried deep within a box of cereal, ahhh the memories of ruining a bag of cornflakes just to find it.

Kash,

I always enjoyed 'The Black Cauldron' as well. I don't remember those figures though. When did you start collecting them?

80'sRocked,

Now that brings back memories. I used to be really into adventure games as a kid.

Sierra & LucasArts were the daddie's. [Big Grin]

A few of my favourites:

I was addicted to every Sierra adventure game....Space Quest series, King's Quest Series, Leisure Suit Larry Series, Police Quest Series, etc....

I just recently bought the reissues and played them all again. These are still my favorite video games of all time.

LSL 1 was the first Sierra game I ever played. I can remember getting it free, along with a copy of Amiga Soccer, when I bought a Commodore Amiga 500. This was back in 1988.

The Gabriel Knight series was another favourite of mine.

I have a copy of Dosbox installed on one of my machines - I know how I'm going to be spending my weekend.

I may be wrong, but they look like little figures that came with cereal boxes. I vaguely recall having a couple of them.

J2ME, they were inside cereal boxes as promotion for the film. Sometimes on the side of the box, other times waaaay inside the packet itself, needless to say, crushed corn flakes were a small price to pay to find em' ahhhh the 80s.

Cool game 80sRocked, though I don;t think I've ever played it. The only adventure game I used to play a lot was 'Maniac Mansion'

logan5, I've got a few around too, that's not my collection up there; some cat is selling them on ebay. Apparently there's a whole cereal toy
sub-culture going on that I didn't know about.

KING80'S Hope its a re-mastered DVD transfer, this movie got a pretty raw deal at the time and there were a lot of cuts made.
