I watched this as a kid, and I had all the little storybooks that went with it. I remember I didn't much like it back then. WGN showed it last night and I watched the first hour of it. I actually kinda liked it. Does anyone know if it is available on DVD? I'd like to see the end of it, though I'm sure it'll be back on before Christmas.

A special edition was released a few years back with several interesting bonus features, so be on the lookout for that one (I think K-Mart might have it for one).
