I just watched the movie "Visiting Hours"...it was really good. They played a bunch of previews before the movie started, and 1 was for this movie...which I never heard of...but the previews were really scary.

Has anyone seen it?

Yes! It's really quite good. It's been awhile since I've seen it, though Fox Movie Channel does show it from time to time. I thought Visiting Hours was good.

I thought Visiting Hours was really good. It was scary! It was really well acted. I kept thinking that Lee Grant looked so much like Adrienne King when she was laying in the hospital bed. The guy that was the killer...he was a maniac...but they actually showed you stuff that happened to him as a kid...that explained why he was the way he was. He gets an obsession going with Lee Grant because she is a newscaster who is against violence.

It is really intense...and I was yelling at the characters. There were alot of people in the hospital...which made it more realistic...that he was in there running around killing people..with others hanging around that even saw him.

I just watched Bad Dreams recently. Stars Jennifer Rubin. It is very similar to Nightmare on Elm Street III - Dreams Warriors....without the Krueger. It's pretty cool.

I think "Bad Dreams" is an underrated flick. The title screams Nightmare on Elm Street copycat, but this movie holds it own. Plus, you get Dean Cameron and E.G. Daily.

Oh and the writer/director Andrew Fleming went on to eventually make another movie I enjoy...."The Craft".

It did look alot like Nightmare on Elm Street. The guy that looks like he must be the bad guy in the movie...he gives me the creeps...his name is Richard Lynch. He reminds me of David Rasche, Anthony Hopkins and Rutger Hauer rolled in to one.

Dean Cameron is from Ski School and Summer School.

I had an old VHS copy of this movie not too long ago that I had to trash when I moved. Kinda sad I did though because it's a pretty good movie. Yeah it's kind of a "Nightmare on Elm Street" rip-off, (especially Elm Street part 3), But it still has it's share of perks. One of those perks being that I don't ever remember seeing E.G. Daily play such a dark role in the 80's as she did in this movie.

And I recall recently when I saw the movie "Hannibal" again. I was reminded alot of the villian in this movie. But, that also could because the villian in "Bad Dreams" bears a strong resemblance to Anthony Hopkins.

But yeah, this movie is definetly worth a look-see for anyone who's yet to see it.

I just watched this for the first time.....and I kindof liked it! I went into it knowing nothing actually.....only knowing Jennifer Rubin was in it.....oh my surprise when there pops up EG Daily and Dean Cameron......it's pretty cheesy in parts and totally a "b" movie but all in all pretty cool [Smile]

Muffy.. the movie "Permanent Record" made me a huge Jennifer Rubin fan. She is brilliant in that flick..

I'll suggest two more.. "The Crush" which you might have seen with Alicia Silverstone and the little known "Blueberry Hill" from the 80's.
