I need to know if any of you like this movie as much as I do. Stars Kelly Preston and Tim Daly....made in 1988. I just watched it again a couple of nights ago. No so much horror/gore, but more of a suspense/thriller/occult type of movie. I don't want to give anything away for those who haven't seen it, but I do recommend checking it out. The ending alone is worth it.

Preston and Travolta are actually trying to get all sales and distribution of this movie permanently banned because of their religious beliefs. I say....get it while you still can. [Wink]

I've mentioned this movie numerous times over the past few years. It's an above average thriller, Kelly Preston as a femme fatale, the guy from Wings, even Slider from Top Gun as a bad guy, OK evil guy. The ending is quite disturbing, but an interesting twist. This one is more than deserving to be on DVD and I find it kind of nauseating about Volts and Preston trying to ban this.

Be careful about mentioning being nauseated you know their religious views on medicine they'll be banning Pepto Bismol next......

I highly recommend "Spellbinder", it is kind of dark and twisted, but that is part of what makes it so great. Not to give anything away, but the ending was awesome. If you haven't seen it yet, you should definitely put it on your Halloween list.

I just got the End Credits music score from this movie on mp3 in pretty good quality. Very rare. If anyone is interested, just send me a PM.

I just bought and watched Spellbinder.
It was a good thriller.

Kelly Preston was so hot she almost burned my VCR!

Hot and evil, she played a hell of a villainess.

Yeah, almost burning my VCR was the evil part [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

I just bought Metalstorm too.
I believe that she´s hot also in that one?

She's hot, but more of a distressed princess/victim role. Gotta love the Night Court's Bull in the film (Richard.....?). His last name escapes me.

The word hot and Preston went hand in hand. She was great in SpaceCamp too.

I've always thought "Spellbinder" was a hidden gem of a flick. I remember catching it around 3am on HBO back in my Lost Boys vampire days. The movie had just started as I was cozying up to the tv with my late night snack. I quickly noticed the stinky guy from "Top Gun" and thought this might interesting. Then bam ....Kelly Preston sealed my fate for that evening.
