I would like to get some feedback as to what you expect or tolerate from an 80's movie.

The past few years I have been digging deeper in acquiring forgotten 80's titles, some I can get by on the cheese/nostalgia aspect, but there are some that are so low-grade porky's, where there is more T&A than plot, the teenagers are portrayed as brain dead heaps of horniness, do you have any of these kinds of movies in mind? Where you'd be embarrased to watch them with people of different sexes or walks of life? Oe even movies that are too gory, too controversial, too taboo.

These come to mind:
Hollywood High pt. 2
the Beach Girls
Hot Chili
The Party Animal

my favorite kinds of movies are the ones that show too much t-n-a or too much gore. gore movies of the 80's are my specialty.

i still look at "H.O.T.S." as a crowning cinematic achievment. also a little movie called "Redneck Zombies" is a particular favorite of mine. there'a another great little 80's gore film called "Death Spa" that i highly recommend. there's just so many to choose from.

now i have to try and watch those movies you listed since i don't think i've ever seen them. but there were a lot of mediocre t-n-a movies in the 80's so i may just not remember having watched them.

anyway, i'm not easily offended.

Things that really offend me are racists comments...I could never understand how Archie Bunker got away with stuff.

But....I agree about Porky's-that was overly raunchy....it is embarrassing to see a bunch of naked guys standing in line to do "you know what"...with the same woman. That was plain gross. They should have been humilitated.

I remember when I saw Porky's....it was on late at night on HBO...and I thought....if my parents knew I saw that...they would kill me.

I always thought that the scene in The Last American Virgin with Carmela ...was disgusting...and when they go with the hooker...I thought when Gary got sick and threw up...that was actually really sad....that was like the least romantic thing I ever saw...and gross ...and I could never imagine a guy wanting to do "that" ...to that degree...that they would jeopardize their dignity and their health just for "that".

I would have been mortified to watch a scene like that with my Grandparents.

I remember the movie "Christine" had really dirty language in it...and my grandparents did hear that, because we had rented it...and went to their house to watch it...and I had no clue that it was that vulgar.

I remember I went to see Eddie Murphy RAW on a date...with someone that I had never gone out with before...and Eddie Murphy started talking about stuff about dating and it was kind of embarrassing...I remember 2 old people getting up and walking out of the theater...and my date said ...what did they think they were coming to see when it starred Eddie Murphy, and was called "RAW".
I think it was just a little too raw for them.
Maybe they were looking for medium rare.

I do get embarrassed really easy...I do care about offending older people, so just about every 80's movie I own could probably do that in some way or another.

I don't get offended.... well, only from lack of originality, or lazy, thinly veiled plaigarism.

Im probably the least political correct person in the world, so you really have to bring out the big guns to offend me in any way!

Bring it on... No need to get offended. It's only a movie, not real life. That's my take on it.

Nothing offends me! However....I will take a moment to point out that there are T & A flicks that are funny and T & A flicks that are just stupid. The stupid ones are SCREWBALLS, SPRING BREAK and HARDBODIES. God, would have killed them to throw a joke in there every once in awhile????

To each their own I guess. I prefer LAST AMERICAN VIRGIN and PORKYS.

I am not easily offended either but ones that stick out for T&A and just totally cheesey, but still totally watchable, are HOTS and Gimme an F. I don't remember Screwballs, I am going to have to look it up and see if I have seen it.

Is it a bad sign that I love "Spring Break" and "Hardbodies"?
