Okay - wondering about some disturbing movies I saw on TV in the 80's, so they MAY have been made in the 70's.
The one I'm most curious about is there's a woman and there's a guy stalking her. He has a friend who helps but has to be persuaded. If I remember correctly, towards the end of the movie, she changes the locks on her house but he digs the boxes out of the trash and gets new keys made. He breaks in and has her tied up with some kind of gas mask on forcing her to breathe poison. I'm not sure, but I think she gets away and finds some way to get revenge.
The other movie was similar, but it MIGHT have been more about hate crime. There's only two things I remember about this one. The first is that the teenage boys doing the terrorizing all drive older muscle cars. There's a scene where there's an old lady (possibly a black lady) making a cake or eating a cake and they throw a brick through the window either killing her or putting her in the hospital.
Last one. I think this one was on HBO since I remember nudity. I remember the least about this one. There's one scene where a guy has a naked woman tied to a bed and he's holding a lit cigarette up to her breast. There might have been a group of guys also in the room. The other scene I remember was a woman running out a room naked and the guy comes up behind her and brains her with a crow bar or tire iron.
I know these all seem really dark. I think I had nightmares about one or two of these. I guess that's what I get for sneaking out of bed and watching TV after my parents were asleep. Any help on the titles would be appreciated but for all I know these could have been made-for-tv or something and the HBO one could have been original programming. Thanks in advance. John
