Oscar-winning movie director Sydney Pollack has just died at age 73 this afternoon (Monday, May 26, 2008).

His 80's movies include:

Out Of Africa
Absence Of Malice
Tootsie
(which he co-starred as Dustin Hoffman's agent)

His movies from the 60's, 70's, and 90's:
Three Days Of The Condor
Jeremiah Johnson
The Firm
They Shoot Horses, Don't They?
The Way We Were

He also acted in other directors' films, including Michael Clayton last year, and Stanley Kubrick's last film, Eyes Wide Shut.

Three Days of the Condor is the best movie he made IMHO.

RIP Sydney.
