Hello everyone!
I'm looking for the music to Creepshow 2, the one which is played in the 2nd story (The Raft) of the movie. In this story there is a car which is parked on the shore, from the car you hear instrumental rock music, it really is rock n' roll. [Cool]
Does anyone know what band or composer has made this music. It sounds very good. [Big Grin]
If anyone knows what band it is, please let me know, all answers are appreciated. Thanks.

I am in the same case.
Very difficult to gather any informations on internet. No mention in the credits,
Only for composers Wakeman and Reed but not for this rock'n'roll music.
I can suggest you to sign the petition for the releasing of this soundtrack.
If you are a fan of this kind of music, i would be glad you suggest me some titles.
Kind regards

The lyrics i understood :
Drivin'
To the edge of time
Tryin'
To get it out of my mind
All my friends said you'd better watch that girl
She's a taker
She's a faker
Nobody knows what she's all about
The (night band ?) woman is a creepy girl
Drivin'

To Tristan:
Yes, I agree, it's very hard to find any information about this music on the internet or anywhere else for that matter. However, I suppose the band is well known, it sounds that way. I really like this kind of music, i think the genre is metal or rock from the 80´s like Motley Crue, Dio and other bands like that. Try the albums "Too fast for love", "Shout at the devil", "Girls, girls, girls" or even "Dr Feelgood" all by Motley Crue.

To jdocster04:
Yes, I have checked out both the listing on the site for creepshow 2 and the mp3fiesta site, unfortunately neither of these sources have any information about this rock n' roll band.
Thank you anyway

Oh yeah thank you so much,
Thanks for the riiide
Dio, Motley Crue
Give us more !

About our topic, i believe the song should be called "Drivin'"
I've captured part of the song - for present notice - at http://tristanconvert.free.fr/raft.mp3 :
Note that the lead voices are male and female, and it does not seem to be the case for Motley nor Dio.

Let's go on with the challenge, we will find out, Marcus.
At this point i'm about to write to warner

This is driving me mad now. I KNOW that I know this song and it won't come to me. I've been searching and searching my archives and the internet for answers with no luck yet. I will keep trying. Now it is an obsession.
