I'm trying to recall a movie I saw in the 80s on cable, late at night. It involved a stepfather, but wasn't THE movie "Stepfater". It begins with a voice over of the main character, a girl, who says, "My stepfather is trying to kill me." It was one of those almost soft-pornographic movies that were on cable often. The step father is trying to kill her and her mother, as one night when she's home alone with her boyfriend (!) she smells gas. Her mother doesn't believe her until she shows her a picture of her step father in bed with someone else. The whole thing escalates and the step father realizes he's being double-crossed by his lover and her brother.
