I am after the name of a movie that I had on VHS around 1987-89. The story was about a teenage kid who was a bit of a nerd, but was into heavy rock music. His favourite artist was a alice cooper lookie-likey and he had just been killed in some sort of accident involving fire. When this kid played his heros lastest album backwards (Back tracking as it's called - i remember the issues raised by the church goers at that time about this being linked to devil worshiping) it brought the deceased heavy metal rock star back to life and this rock star sorted out the bullies who were pushing this teenage kid around. I also remember it has quite a good soundtrack and I'm certain that the 80's rock group - halloweeen, did a track for the album. I also remember a scene when the living/dead rock star was in the rear of a US type police car and the kid driving was trying to stop something happening.
