I do not know the title to this movie but I remember it was set in Australia. it was about this kid who is really smart but always in trouble. He is trying to figure out this lake where people keep disappearing. Come to find out it is a crane that that powered by a windmill and it drags him under. I saw this movie in the late 80's early 90's and I really want a copy of it but I can't remember the title!
