Which one would you say you find most fitting and/or visually interesting? If I had to pick one it would probably be the Thug leader's demise in Temple of Doom from falling off the cliff and being devoured by the crocodiles (since of course the main bad guy must be done in by more than one method). A close second (assuming it actually did kill them, which seems likely) would be the Nazis' death in The Blues Brothers by driving off the Bridge to Nowhere and falling 100,000 feet into the street (with those priceless looks on their faces during the fall), then having the other Nazi car fall on top of them to add insult to literal injury.

Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber falling out of the window in Die Hard

Alan Rickman as The Sherriff Of Nottingham getting his final goodbye in Robin hood - Prince Of Thieves

Alan Rickman doing anything involving dying, actually......

Rutger Hauer in "Blade Runner" for the "tears in rain" speech he actually wrote.
Christian Slater in "Heathers" and on a similar explosion theme, Randall 'Tex' Cobb the tracker guy hunting Nicholas Cage in "Raising Arizona".

David being impaled in 'The Lost Boys', startling poignant.

Dallas getting shot repeatedly by the police in 'The Outsiders', and also David dying in 'The Lost Boys',I so love the music that plays during that scene.

Rutger Hauer does have some good ones in not only Blade Runner, but the Hitcher as well.

A good villain death in Fright Night too. Revenge of the Ninja also had a good one.

I like the big Nazi goon who gets his by way of the airplane propeller in Raiders of the Lost Ark. And Indy disposing of the Arab swordsman might rank as the all-time funniest. Another one I really love is when Kevin Costner blows away the bad guy gunslinger at the end of Open Range. That was awesome because it was so totally unexpected. They build up the bad guy so you think there's going to be this big showdown gunfight, and then Costner just pops him with no warning! Awesome.

Raiders had some fun villain endings fore sure, who could forget the Nazi's face melting when he sees the ark.

I thought Frank getting ripped apart in "Hellraiser" was pretty cool !!!

and Dalton ripping Jimmys throat out in "Roadhouse" was quality.

Actually I think he's brilliant - certainly the best 80s movie villain, and possibly the best one of all time. And as such, the way he meets his death in those two movies specifically stick in my mind.

The Sherriff of Nottingham death was such over the top, shakespearian acting at its finest.

You gotta love it.

Alan Rickman is a bonafide villain Hall of Famer(if there is such a thing). David Kelly(The Warriors, The Crow) is an exceptional one as well. It's 90's I know, but I liked the demise of some of the thugs by Brandon Lee in the Crow.

So I guess then you're going to enjoy it when Snape ends up getting it in Deathly Hallows Part 2 a year and a half from now.

It's not an 80's film, but I love it when the O'Doyles's drive over a banana peel and off a cliff in "Billy Madison".
