There was a movie i think it was in the late 80s where there was a lamp in the attic and there was a evil spirit in it and i think it was the father and there was a family in the movie too. Amityville.................although i can never remember which one as i liked this one too. It ends with the lamp being thrown out of the window and onto the rocks by the sea, and then it seems that evil goes into the cat!!!!!??

Yup it's an Amityville film, the 2nd one if I remember rightly. Anyone see the recent remake of the first film? looked like someone saw the original plot and threw it out the window, same goes for the remake of The Fog

I liked the Amityville remake but hated the Fog remake.
