I remember seeing this movie when I was very little, and I have recently seen it again on the SCI-FI channel. It definitely seems like an 80s kind of movie, but I have been hearing from some people that it was actually made in the early 90s. Is this true?

I was hoping this was going to be about the German heavy metal group Warlock with the lovely Doro Pesch on lead vocals. Triumph and Agony was always one of my most favourite under appreciated album of the 80s.
