Has anyone seen this movie? Over the last year, I've be looking for something and this movie keeps popping up. The reviews make it sound like 21 Jump Street in a movie version. It was directed by John Stockwell of "Christine" and "Top Gun" lost my edge, I'm holding on too tight fame. The cast includes Jennifer Jason Leigh, but the real interesting cast members are notables like Kathleen "Private School" Wilhoite, Mark "Teen Wolf" Holton, and John "North Shore" Philbin. The comments on imdb are not giving the movie much love, but I was wonder if anyone from The Rewind might have seen it?

"A cop goes undercover in a South Carolina high school.
With the help of a local narcotics officer, he investigates the drug ring responsible for another cop's death." (IMDb)

Watched Under Cover last night and it was a good Cannon action flick.
Excellent 80s feel and very good score composed by Todd Rundgren and Albert Lee.

David Neidorf did a decent job in a leading role.
Barry Corbin is always excellent and it was also nice to see David Harris (Quicksilver, Fire with Fire).
John Philbin and Mark Holton have very small roles in this one.

We can hear few cool tunes from bands and artist like Ruffians, The Alarm and Belinda Carlisle.
See Ozzy and Journey stickers on the school locker, WASP and Journey t-shirts
and director John Stockwell also makes a cameo (Harris is watching Dangerously Close)
Another cool Cannon film!

It looks pretty entertaining actually,I've seen the trailer for it a few times over the years but never had the chance to watch it.
