I originally posted this in the 90's movie section but I figured I'd put it in here cause there's more traffic. I also think it's worthy of some of you guys checking it out if you haven't seen or heard of it. If any of you have seen Life 101, what were your thoughts?

I read some really horrible reviews but decided to watch it anyways cause I enjoy Corey and Ami. I have to say, I liked it! I thought there was a sweetness to it and it was very real in the sense that it showed how relationships come to an end sometimes and things and people change, even when there is love present.

I thought the chemistry between Corey and Ami was natural and their characters were a likable couple. Keith Coogan surprised me with his character delivery. I thought he was one of the stronger components in the film. The only aspect that drove me nuts was the fact that it was supposed to take place in the 60's but Corey Haim's hair was very 90's. It was all gel and spikey. Some of the clothes and hair on other people in the film were also off. Ami looked beautiful but a tad too thin. Overall, it was worth the 2 bucks I paid for it. I'd watch it again.

I've never heard of it. It might be something that I'll have to check out.

I Want My Two Dollars! [Wink] Oops, sorry wrong movie.

Cindy, I think Keith Coogan was great in the 80's. I haven't seen this movie, but maybe I can get my Ami Dolenz kick back and watch it soon. Keep trying to score "Miracle Beach", I think you will like it. [Cool]

I have. I have it on VHS.

I saw it and bought it because of Corey Haim. It's a Drama. It's not bad but not good. The movie just didn't do it for me, but kept it because of Corey Haim.
