Devolution here,

I bought the DVD. It's ok, I remember the commercial, not really the movie all that much. Marisa Tomei is like 18 in it. Not bad for a low budget movie.

Oh Devo,

I have made some questionable purchases in my day, I'll admit, but Playing For Keeps was barely watchable. My friend Greg bought it last year at Wal-Mart for $5 and I think he sold it for a nickel.

P.S. Marisa Tomei annoys me.

It's worth $5. Marisa Tomei can annoy me anytime she wants to...

Marisa Tomei annoys me too, it is her voice. I don't mind the movie Untamed Heart... she's not so bad in it- because Rosie Perez's voice is more annoying than Marisa's- so she kind of drowns her out...but in my Cousin Vinnie..her voice was beyond annoying.

OMG- she was SUPPOSED to be annoying in My Cousin Vinnie. So were Joe Pesci and Ralph Macchio- they were supposed to have that accent from New York. And if you don't believe it doesn't happen, try spending a day with my best friend's relatives from Brooklyn! OMG- it was so scary to me- they are all huggy and kissy just like in the movies, and I'm an English hold off from PA! If anyone watches Goodfellas, you would know what I mean- at the wedding.

Devolution here,

Agreed. I lived in Brooklyn and live right over the bridge right now. The accent wasn't that far off. A bit over done but none the less, 80's chick is right. By the way no one in brooklyn would ever use the name "Vinnie" it's strictly "Vinny".

Much like the name of the movie. Let's get it together folks.
