Hi. I'm so excited to be here. This is my first post, and I hope someone can help me. There's a movie (pretty sure it's 80s) that is about a group of friends (guys and girls), like 7 of them, that are dancers. They all pack up and move to New York, (I think it's NY), and they get an apartment & fix it up. They are there to enter some dance competition. They earn money while there, and go to dance clubs to pick up moves. I remember, one of the friends, is some white dude with a crazy afro. Another part of the movie I recall is when they go to a plaza outside and put on a show of dancing to make money. They also have some trouble getting into the competition for some reason. I really hope someone knows what I'm talking about. It's frustrating me so much! I remember pretty much everything about this movie except the name. Thanks!

Is this weird or what?....Jessie just said this movie when TKO asked about it.

The movie you are seeking is called:

Fast Forward (1985)

Thankx for the replies. But I don't think it is called "Fast Fwd." Someone told me that movie is about a dance school or something. But I will look into it. Come to think of it, I think they do sing some song, saying "Fast Forward." Maybe it is it! [Smile]

Well, Fast Forward is out-of-print, so I suggest ebay. I don't know where you live, so you might have to purchase a DVD that fits your region. ebay is buyer beware, but if you like the movie it's probably your best bet.

Ebay.com (Fast Forward)

Especially in this case because it hasn't been released on DVD so all the DVD copies on eBay are bootlegs.

If you google search for the words bootleg dvd, there's a link on the side that says:

Bootleg Dvd
Bootleg Dvd for sale. aff
Check out the deals now!
www.eBay.com

eBay seriously need to clean up their act with regards to bootlegs, it's gotten way out of hand and they don't care people are getting ripped off.
