Just thought I'd let you guys know that the tv version of Fast Times with all the extra scenes will be on tonight. I know I'll be taping it!

Tue Nov 22 01:00A on TBS Superstation

Just remember...When you gain the additional scenes, you lose the sex, language and drug use.

Caveat Emptor.

Devolution here,

I agree, the additional scenes aren't really worth it. They are cool the first time, but not necessary in the grand scheme of the movie.

We are DEVO

Geez, I wasn't saying they were better, just extra...thought it'd be cool to get em on tape. [Frown]

Thanks for letting us know cindy. I watched most of it before almost falling asleep on the couch, but I taped it and also taped Hot Dog, which was on right after it, so the hubby could watch too. The only scene that I think they should have left in was when Stacey and Linda are talking about Ron the stereo salesman. He had called Stacey's house, but her mother answered and told him that she was still in high school. So that explained why he never called her again. Because believe me, if a guy in his teens or 20's is getting a little something-something, he's gonna continue to come around until the girl gets too clingy!

Cindy, I totally enjoy seeing the extra scenes of old 80's movies like "Fast Times" & "Sixteen Candles". Don't get me wrong, I've never been bothered by a little gratuitous nudity either, but getting to see deleted or tv version scenes is neat. During Encore's Big 80's week they showed a deleted scene from "Private School" that I'd never seen which was tripendicular.
