Been away for too long, it's good to be back and I hope it stays that way. The first week of April was just amazing. A good buddy of mine had an 80's party in Ottawa, at first I was thinking it was just going to be a minor affair, watch a couple of movies (Hugga Bunch, the widescreen version!), maybe play some video games or some Spyrograph or Hungy Hippo. Actually when I got there I was floored, the walls were mounted with tons of classic 80's vinyl, there were movies and props galore, then tons of people began to arrive, and they all had pretty good costumes. I had a metal dude mullet wig, some other guys did the Motley Crue look too, some had the new Romantic Durran Duran look, some had the pocket protector Devo look, and the girls had the Valley Girl, punkish, Madonna Boy Toy era look, plus some styled on Pat Benetar with leg warmers and some Cyndi Lauperish outfits. I somehow managed ended up bartending and passing out the beer all night, I also had to play DJ too which was was a blast playing stuff, I had to take requests too. This was one of those parties where you didn't want it to end, i was having such a good time that when I looked outside it was dawn and most people had left. I was thinking of a bunch of you on Rewind, wishing you could be there and wondering if you had any cool 80's parties that went down like this.

Okay now why wasn't I invited?? I would have loved to be there to see it all! I still say I wish we could get together and have some kind of party and let ISIS handle the whole thing, not totally, but I bet she would have excellent ideas for one. I would be there for it hands down!
I would do my best to wear an awesome 80's outfit, have the hair and makeup all done up too! I still think that we need to be on Oprah or a talk show of somekind to show how well we all get along, ususally--no pun intended!!
