A great underappreciated animated fantasy that i adored when i was a kid right next to " The Phantom Tollbooth", "Dark Crystal", "Wizard of Oz", "Secret of NIMH", "Batman", "Indiana Jones" and " Ghostbusters".
It's about a unicorn who thinks she is the last of her kind as she wonders into the dangerous but magical world beyond her as she meets a handful of characters including a magician that accidently changes her into a beautiful human maidan to fool the bad guys that have the unicorns of the world hostage, a local prince falls in love with her as she must have a 5 day decision of weither to be human or save the unicorns of the world.
A unique and magical animated fantasy with beautiful artwork, good storyline, fun soundtrack by America, some sad stuff, some funny stuff and it's a feel good movie that i highly recommend.
P.S.: For the guys, there is a sexy animated chick just for them.
