I have been trying to figure out the name of this movie for some time now, i dont remember if it was good or not just something i saw late night when i was a kid.........

anyways the movie had something to do with this group of teenagers discovering some type of energy source or "cosic power" in a junk yard or scrap yard(something like that) and the thing brought havick to their town, i think most of it took place at their highscool, the scene i remember most is when one of the characters in a muscle car out runs the engergy as it travels through powerlines, i know in the scene he had a switch to turn on the cars blower(like in mad max)
i also think i remember whatever they discovered altered deminsions or something
........i know this is a rough sketch but if something knows what i am talking about please let me know, its just one of those little things that been bugging me........there are so many of those lost late night movies you see once and never here from again, heh!
thanks, david m

I hope that is the correct link. The movie that you are looking for is "My Science Project". It starred John Stockwell, Danielle Von Zernek, and Dennis Hopper.

By the way--welcome to our site!

It's definitely "My Science Project" alright.

The machine was found in a USAF junkyard when the kid is looking for something to use as his science project. He waited until the last minute to come up with something so he was desperate!

I didn't see the beginning when it was on tv recently, but apparently the machine causes some sort of temperal distortion causing TIME to intermix within the vicinity of the device.

It's a cheesy 80s flick, but those are always fun to watch...

CHECK IT OUT ON DVD...
