i'm not 100% sure it was made in the eighties, but i guess so.

its a movie about this teenager boy who builds up this cute little yellow robot and then it starts getting psycho...

i remember a scene about this old woman doing something to the boy and the robot killed her with a basketball. hm.. weird.

any of you guys know what i'm talking about?

My friend you have come the right place, the people might bad mouth me but I can tell you that the name of that movie is Deadly Friend and it was Kristy Swanson's first movie. The boy tries to bring her back to life after she is killed and the scene with the basketball is classic cinema.

I remember this movie! Was Anne Ramsy (Mama Fratelli of Goonies) in it also? I might be mixing to movies together but I swore she was.

not only was Anne Ramsey in it,but her basketball exploding head was the highlight of the movie.
