it was a car movie from the 80s or early 90s a guy raced for money and i think he made a bet that he could make it into the highschool football feid in a cirtain time limit while other cars are chasing him including the police. hes driving a old car mabye a 56 or 57 chevy .he drives into a warehouse and they spray the car with water and it changes colour. and other cars that look like his come out the other end of the warehouse to help him get away. at the end he goes off a ramp in slow motion into the football feild please help what is this movie or how can i find out what its called please advise

I tried searching IMDB using it's advanced search on Plots (fruitless) and also Google web/newsgroups (even more fruitless), are there any other details you can give such as names? searching for "car race" or "car chase" turns up more films than you can shake a stick at [Frown]
