Hey Guys,

Quick question for you all. I was at Wal-Mart today and saw that they are selling the movies Diner and The Hotel New Hampshire on DVD for $5.88. I have not seen either one. Can you tell me if they are worth checking out? The Rob Lowe factor doesn't hurt [Razz]

Thanks!

Hey

isnt The Hotel New Hampshire the one where the Rob Lowe character gets it on with his sister? i dont really remember anything else, lol thats the bit that sorta sticks in your mind.?

Diner, if i remember rightly was pretty good and well worth a watch especially at that price.

Devolution here,
Wal-mart, very scary place depending on location,
the Diner Soundtrack rocks the movie, which catapulted many of the stars in the movie, is ok, starts fast then drags if I recall correctly.

Rob Lowe does get it on with his sister in Hotel New Hampshire, played by Jodie Foster I think.
Bored the hell out of me to be honest!!
But there you go.....!

Hey thanks for the advice. I think I will steer clear of these. I guess the reason they're both so cheap is because they suck so much [Big Grin] Hahaha

"Diner" is great! A chance to see some good young 80's male talent in their early years. It's totally worth seeing.

I never saw "Hotel New Hampshire", so I can't comment on that. I'm just not a big fan of Rob Lowe. Maybe that home video sex scandal in the late 80's may have something to do with that. [Smile]

Finally, I would not buy any video from Wal-Mart, even though they have cheaper prices. It's just personal thing with me.
