I remember sneaking into this movie as a 12 year old kid. I think it was sometime around 1987. The movie basically was about this guy who was going around killing people. In the end come to find out, he had a twin brother that was doing the killing instead of himself. I don't even know if the movie was ever released to VHS much less DVD. It's been bugging me for like a year now. LOL. Anyways thanks...

There is a book by Stephen King, that was later made into a movie in the late eighties early nineties sometime, called "The Dark Half."

It's about a writer who believes murders that are occuring around him may be connected to the fragments of an undeveloped twin removed from his brain. His twin. [Eek!]

I doubt that this is it, but hopefully someone else will remember something better.

It could be Cronenberg's "Dead Ringers".. although from what you say.. it doesn't match up really well, but it is about murderous identical male twins..
