I saw the film at first when I was at the age of 13 years. And I only can say that this is the best karate film i have ever seen. After I have watched the film I started to learn Karate. This film motivated me. I love KARATE KID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i first saw it aged around 8,im 19 now and still obsessed from then on! it is quite possible the greatest film ever. i watch it way too much, my tape has almost run out, luckily my dvd box set still works well. karate kid rocks!!!

For me I loved it when it first came out. But to be honest I didn't watch it for like 15 years. THEN about 3 months ago I rented it and wow did it age perfectly! It is a 100 times better movie now then in 1984!

I saw it on HBO in 1985. Liked it, but not till I was about 20 did I really appreciate it. I loved it so much I had to move it up to number 2 behind BTTF on my top films of all time. Of the thousands of movies I've seen, only two do I use the word "love" on: BTTF and KK.
