in KK3, we find out that Kreese lost all his students from his bad reputation, so when Terry silver buys him all these new locations, how the hell does he expect him to run that many.

First of all, he cant even run 1 school, good luck with 25 or whatever.. and there are no students to help teach, so it still makes no sence..

also..when they have Mike Bares fight in the tournament, he could have easily won that match if he just played by the rules..and scored 3 points, but by making him break the rules and fighting dirty sure isn't gonna win over the croud and get people to join the school..

Mike did enough revenge for the Cobra Kai on daniel the whole movie..beating him up on a few occaisions, busting his expencive bonsai, so beating him up *again* in a tournament isn't gonna do much more damage, so i didn't understand their motive there.

since terry seems like a pretty smart guy, he should have been able to figuer that out on his own..you know, as a character

Terry wanted to publicly humiliate Daniel. Having Mike beating up Daniel in the street and snapping Miyagi's bonsai wasn't enough. Terry has a sense of the theatrical of flair and joie de vivre. Breaking Daniel's bones in some back street would not satisfy him.

Terry's plan was to re-establish the Cobra Kai's by having one of their fighters win the All Valley.

As for whether Kreese could actually run 25 schools. Lets not forget that Mike Barnes "fee" for taking on Daniel was 50% of the new dojo's so Kreese would not be running them single handed.

ok..so they have two instructers for 25 something schools..that is still insane..but humiliating daniel was fine..so how did they expect to get people to join the cobra kai if all they did was cheated?

if terry was thinking strait..he would have had mike just finish him quickly, then it would have been a respectful humiliation since daniel lost so badly..and the cobra kai schools may have been able to rebuild

Kreese and Silver were sick, pathetic people. Their whole lives were based on breaking the rules and being cruel. So, what else could be expected of them. The first time I watched KKIII, I also thought that Barnes could easily defeat Daniel in a fair match. After watching it again, however, I became convinced that Daniel really could win a match done strictly by the rules. Don't forget that Daniel was easily intimidated being surrounded by 3 devils and that Miyagi wasn't willing to help him at that time. Miyagi's training helped Daniel to think the right way. Besides, I believe the Mike Barnes character was much older than 18; it's not a stretch to believe that his mentors cheated on that account, too. Anyway, it's all poetic license in the movies. I can't believe that any reputable tournament would allow all the cheating the Cobra Kais got away with.

Mike Bares totally dominated that fight..untill the sudden death, he could have ended it at any time, he was way out of daniels league,
Sure daniel beat him in the end with the throw-punch combination, but i dont think mike would fall for it again.

i think the lil extra chub on dan made him weak..O_o
