The KC star is a corrupt propaganda newspaper(fact)so im gonna research this a little more.

I would like your opinions on something. I have been buying and selling awesome hard to find VHS videos on eBay for over a decade and have done a lot of research trying to figure out what is worth $20+ and what is just simply a 99 cent item. I simply look at the sold items on eBay. Over the last couple years ive noticed ridiculous hard to believe sell prices. For instance disney vhs selling for thousands of dollars and the same video selling for $50 or even less. Im not buying it. I own some of these same videos brand new in the original plastic wrap and i aint gonna get no $1000+ out of them. Now the one owned by 💪 Biff that was auctioned off i can believe that one because it was owned by him. Now, over the last year or so there has been somebody doing grading on other brand new vhs videos like Top Gun, Ghostbusters, Jaws and a lot of popular 80s movies and these have been selling at very hi prices. Something fishy is going on. Perhaps someone is trying to drive the price up. I fella i work with suggested that they may be money laundering. I don't know but it all seems fishy to me 😁

At least here in Finland some vhs tapes have gone for silly money. For example the original Star Wars trilogy tapes are worth 100-500 euros and i believe that the original Tron tape has the record, near 1000 euros.

Even the more basic tapes cost ten to one hundred euros nowadays so collectors really want this stuff.

I have no idea about KC star it came up in my Google feed, but the sale is reported on a load of sites.

As for VHS tapes being sold for silly money it could be money laundering, it could also be people messing up sales because they don't like what the seller is doing, don't know what that could be on VHS sale, maybe in the small print they had box only no tape or something.
