By and large they're accurate about how bad the majority of these films are (although I could recall it was December of 1988 that I was forced to watch the first half of Mac and Me before we mercifully had to leave to go to a Christmas party; might several theaters have delayed the release for whatever reason?). I would, though, give Wagons East more credit, and not just because I personally hold its star so high. It's a bit flat, yes, but not outright bad, with some parts genuinely amusing ("He was head of a certain wagon train heading west....I keep thinking of reindeer." "Reindeer? You mean like Dancer and Prancer?" "Nope, name some more." "Donner and Blitzen?" "That's him: the Blitzen Party." (of course, it's Donner). And considering he was burned out, at the end of the trail, and, as was too often the case, not given any creative input to the script, Candy makes the best of what he does have to work with (to his credit, before his passing, he anonymously donated a lot of money to local Durango missions, so it can be said he went out on a high note either way).

Wow! These are some real stinkers. I mean, who really wanted a Baby Geniuses 2? Anybody? Anybody? There are some real catastrophes here. Look at The Avengers, Battlefield Earth, Speed 2, Staying Alive, and Jaws: The Revenge. Again, who wanted any of these? Also, lots of bad science fiction and half the list of unfunny comedies... (Because nothing will crash and burn and bankrupt a studio quicker than something like Pluto Nash, a bad science fiction comedy.)

I was looking at this list, and I noted that a few of them have one thing in common: a pretty good star doing an absolutely dreadful accent--Dana Carvey in Master of Disguise, Jon Voight in Getaway, Stephen Rea in Fear Dot Com... And you see that some stars have multiple movies on the list, like Kim Basinger, Voight, Travolta, Stephen Dorff, Sandra Bullock, Hilary Duff, Mario Van Peebles... In other words, they need better agents. [Smile]

Yeah There are some serious stinkers on that list,I looked thru the list trying hard to find one that I actually liked and I did find one in the end and that is mobsters with Christian slater,i'll admit it's far from being a classic but I"ve always found it very entertaining to watch.

Deuces wild with Stephen dorff I find bearable as well.

Few pretty decent movies on the list:

Return to the Blue Lagoon - nothing new here but entertaining stuff and young Milla looks stunning.

Wagons East - What Chris said.

Staying Alive - I like dance movies and this is no exception. Fantastic soundtrack too.

Caddyshack II - Far from a stinker. Unnecessary maybe as a sequel but there are much worse films. Few nice tunes on the soundtrack.

Cocktail - There had to be a bartender film in the 80s. Cool locations and a feelgood vibe. Again, some nice tunes on the soundtrack.

Mobsters is one movie i donīt have but would like to get/see.

See No Evil was a laugh.

I liked Ghost Dad when I was a kid.

Cocktail is ok.

I have nothing else good to say.

No Brendan Frasier movies? This list holds no water if he isnt on it. I havent seen all of these but Cocktail belongs for sure. one of the worst I spent money on.

Last Airbender was a kids movie so I expected it to not be great but it wasnt horrible.

Bernie might disagree with Jaws revenge being #2 instead of #1. Bern?

Jaws: The Revenge was the fourth installment in the franchise.

Caddyshack 2 while technically a bad movie I think is good value. I guess as a golfer I probably get more out of it too but I do know that we have some devout Caddyshack 2 fans on the site but they are not coming out of the woodwork to back me up [Roll Eyes] I will out you guys if necessary [Big Grin]

Cocktail is absolute garbage!

Jaws: The Revenge is hands down one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I think the series gets progressively worse. The original is an absolute masterpiece though.

There aren't any movies apart from Caddyshack 2 [Big Grin] that I actually like on that list. I am going to get reamed on this one but I actually liked Mac and Me as a kid although I did watch it a couple years back and thought it was atrocious.

Some of Ebert's most amusing putdowns came from these, notably Cocktail ("Acted, written, and directed on autopilot. There isn't a moment in this picture that isn't borrowed from other pictures.") and Jaws: the Revenge ("Wouldn't every shark like to take revenge on the descendants of the men who killed it?"). So one positive out of hideous films is that they bring us the funniest reviews.

Mac and Me was a load of rubbish! I remember watching it, I had to babysit and I was forced to watch Mac and Me, then I nearly fell asleep.

Although, Cocktail and Jaws: The Revenge were awesome movies.
