as this is my first post I have to say this is one of the best movie sites I have found on the net....anyway, I need help finding the title of a movie I believe was released in the 80's, I only have the vaguest memory of it. What I remember is a man with brown/black curly hair and he drives a see through, maybe glass car. I think it's a sci-fi and has something to do with computers I also remember some kids helping him somehow through the computer. I hope this sounds familiar to some of you, thanks.

Hi will1984, and welcome. Thx for the kudos comments on the site.

Are you thinking of Tron? That would certainly fit the description you give.

No worries, I can't stay of this site I love it. No it's not Tron thats a movie I can't forget "classic". It's a hard one to explain. He had a glass car with different coloured lights. I have the feeling he was stuck in the computer or at least far away from it and he was trying to get back. The kids could talk to him through the computer and maybe control the car with it. I hope you love a challenge. thanks

Automan was a TV series. He was a computer program that could manifest itself in the real world, and also make different 'objects'. He was controlled by a nerdy computer guy.
