Anybody in danger of meeting this bugger? Supposed to hit pretty hard here on Sunday evening (Nova Scotia, Canada)...hopefully not too hard. We rarely have to deal with any type of crazy weather like this...that's why I try not to complain too much about our crazy Canadian winters.

My cousins's a grad student at UNC-W off the NC coast and he said they were warning people to stay out of the water down there because of the current. My thoughts to anyone whose gonna be affected by it........

Where is Hurrican Anna? I have been out of the loop most of this week because my Mother-in-law passed away. I put on CBS this Morning on Fri. and they were talking about these hurricanes, but then when they put up the weather map, they made no mention of just exactly where they were- eg. Gulf of Mexico, East Coast, Atlantic Ocean, etc. So I have no idea where they were going to possibly hit. BTW, my Mother-in-law's name is Anna, and her previously departed husband was named Bill! We talked about what a coincidence the other night.

Anna's pretty much dissipated by now; it ran into a hostile environment in the Gulf and fell apart. The next storm, I believe, would be named Danny.
