You know how we sit around and reminecse about stuff we had as kids and wonder 'what ever happned to that?' Well, Im here to tell you what "happened to that"!
My daughter just turned ten and has reached that "Dont You Dare Look Through My Stuff" phase. Sadly, she has also hit the "I Refuse To Clean Up After Myself" stage.
This past week I have had more than a few "Clean that up, wouldja?" talks , only to be answered "Yeah, yeah, yeah" and nothing gets moved.
I threw out a headless doll (!) and got yelled at.
I MOVED an important homework folder that was buried in BARBIES DREAMHOUSE, along with 38 Barbies and everything they own. For this I got yelled at.
So you knwow hat I did today? Yup. I did The Old Wrecking Ball. I cleaned like a demon. I threw out all the POLLY POCKET and LITTLEST PET SHOP stuff. All the Barbies and Bratz have been packed up and put away nicely. If any of them only have one shoe that shoe gets thrown out. I did Power Cleaning and when she gets home from school she is going to be SHOCKED ....but this wouldnt have had to have happend if she would have cleaned her own ****!
