This was a suggestion under Flipped online.....I loved every minute of it.

An 11 year old boys tale of falling in love....quirky and fun. Heartwarming and sweet!

"Gross cooties!"

I highly suggest it!

Sounds sweet Muffy, but is this going to make me reminisce and bring back memories about first loves? haha

I will be sure to get this one and Flipped together for a double feature or something. [Smile] Thanks for the recs chica!

Yeah, I thought the movie sounded good until I saw Cynthia Nixon's whiny face. I may give it a try sometime. I do have Flipped toward the top of my Netflix, so I should be watching it soon.

It's not weird... it all makes sense. You need to get to the cabin right now Muffles... they know you know.

Speaking of which, when will Little Darlings finally get released on DVD?!

Maybe when the remake comes out...

I watched Little Manhattan on TV this afternoon.

Charming, coming-of-age fable with slight surreal touches.

The voice-over self-analysing narrative structure, plus the prominent New York setting
makes it feel like a Woody Allen movie for kids.. well, sort of.

Interestingly, it was written by Jennifer Flackett and directed by her husband Mark Levin.
Flackett began her career as story editor on Beverly Hills 90210, while Levin wrote several
episodes of The Wonder Years.
