Good in its own way.

Glad I didn’t see it in the cinema, though; seemed better to watch it online as you don't mind the handheld camerawork as much (nothing invites nausea quite like handheld camerawork on the big screen). An interesting attempt at a Toho style Godzilla movie, (sly nod in that the main character is about to leave for Japan when the monster attacks).

Not a great film, but a novel, reasonably exciting 80 minutes of mayhem & melodrama.

Makes you want to play King Of Monsters on the old Sega Megadrive!

Yup, I would have hated it on the big screen too. Not bad overall. I like that it was different in it's feel, look, and, because it was more unconventional than any other monster movie I've seen. Strangely fast paced and surreal... [Smile]

I saw it at the cinema and have to admit in the end the camera work gets a bit much, other than that i thought it was a worthwhile film with some good scenes and effects.Although i don't think the monster was what a lot of people were expecting in the end.

what the hell was the monster supposed to be anyway??..Some kind of Mutated fish??

Better question, it came from the ocean? Where was it hiding all of this time?

Doc, some say it'd been involved in poltics and ran a successful law firm for years, but nobody noticed.

Creature looked like some kind of bat headed mutant amphibian type monster, bit like the one in Korean movie 'The Host'.

I just couldn't figure out why they all kept following the main guy when he was headed toward the monster the whole time. His motivation was that he was trying to get to his girlfriend (although why he would expect that she'd still be alive is beyond me) - but what are the others thinking? Run away from the giant killer monster, idiots.

This film was based of an 80's video game called, 'Rampage'.

I thought it was ok being that it had a good shock value to it, and it kept ya thinkin "what the heck kinda monster is this"?
