I just talked to a friend tonight that said they saw this movie over the weekend, and they said it was really sad.

I didn't know it was a sad movie. I thought it was suppose to be a comedy.

I had thought that this movie was a remake, but I looked it up and didn't see any other movie under that name. I don't know why then I thought I had heard of this title before. [Confused]

I am not crazy about Owen Wilson or Jennifer Aniston...but it seems to be doing well, and I was thinking of going to the movies tomorrow for New Year's, but I don't know what to go see.

Marley and me is based off of a book about a dog named...Marley. Yes, it is supposed to be sad because of what happens. I haven't read the book or seen the movie, but I did see an interview with the author several years back and he was talking about Marley.

I have talked to alot of people who have seen it, and even guys said they cried. But, the clips I have seen of the acting in it-look really bad. So, I can't decide if I want to go or not. I know a few kids who have read the book, and then watched the movie and said that of course the book is much better and they changed a bunch around in it (which they always do). I never know which is better...to read the book then see the movie and think the movie stinks, or watch the movie-and it be semi ok-and then read the book.

i'm not crazy about the cast at all.

i don't like owen wilson, but i do like his brother, luke.
also, i cannot stand jennifer aniston... but i still want to see the movie. i know it's gonna be sad, but i'm in the mood for it.
my b/f is afraid to watch it because he doesn't want to end up an emotional wreck afterwards. he's a huge dog lover.

I don't know how it could ever top Old Yeller though for a Tear Jerker. Another good sad dog movie is: Where the Red Fern Grows. A friend of mine-had a dog that was a decendant of "Little Ann"- who is one of the dogs in Where the Red Fern Grows.

I don't know what the big deal is about Jennifer Aniston...I have never thought she was a good actress...I don't understand all the big deal over her magazine cover where she is wearing nothing but a tie- is that really that big of a deal any more? They put naked people on the cover of anything they can get them on. She said she was totally photoshopped in the picture, so I don't understand the big deal, they just put your head on anybody's body- or make a body up for you, so who cares.

I don't like Owen Wilson either, I think he is a lousy actor. That clip when she says she's pregnant, and he says "oh great, wow"....that is so lame.

Devolution here,

Side note...

They don't make adult based movies with dogs as one of the main characters where the dog doesn't die.

Always good movies, but they always make you think about your animals.
