Yep, there's a new one, out in November. I found it while doing a little horror movie searching on Amazon. Now, I never liked any of the other Sleepaway Camp movies. Wonder if this one's any better?

I love the first SLEEPAWAY CAMP! Its sooo funny!
The second one is pretty damn amusing too!
The third one: I was not a big fan
I never saw the "original" bits and pieces for Part 4...but I heard they were ghastly.
Im really not looking foward to the new one becuase soooo much time has passed...if they were gonna do it they should have done it already. I know they had financial problems...but sheesh...its hard to get excited about a sequel thats twenty plus years too late.

I have the rough cut/raw footage for the never-completed Part 4 in the Sleepaway Camp box set. It is God-awful. It looks like somebody's bad student film.

My problem with Sleepaway Camp is that I was SO psyched to see it when I was a kid. For some reason, my parents wouldn't let me watch it. Every Saturday we'd go to the video store and I'd see the box and think, man this looks good. So then when I did finally see it, I was like, okay. I thought it was kinda stupid, really. So I guess it didn't live up to my expectations of it. I kinda liked part two, though. Part three was terrible, IMO.

mamamia- Yeah, it really wasn't up to the standards of the original. It was a decent vampire flick on its own, but not good as a sequel.
