We all know that whilst Hollywood is home of the blockbuster, Britain has produced some of the finest movies over the years.

If you're sticking to the 00's, then I might struggle.
However, over the decades previous, some of the best have been British Made.
A Fish Called Wanda was pretty funny, as were the Python movies.
The Carry On movies and the Ealing Comedies are classics.
Bond still counts as British, so some of these are really cool - wwhich actually leads me to the one I CAN add to your lise, Noms: Casino Royale. Might be american money, but its a British Flick.

Just seen Hot Fuzz. FANTASTIC. Any Guy Ritchie film. Ryan's Daughter. Oldies such as: Saturday Night, Sunday Morning/A Kind of Loving. 28 Days Later. Harry Potter.

Every James Bond film is good... Monty Python and the holy grail Shaun of the Dead 28 Days Later Dog Soldiers Wasn't at least part of Star Wars filmed in England?
I love the line in Dog Soldiers when the guy is just about to die, he says to the wearwolf, "I hope I give you the sh_ts". I laughed my @ss off when I saw that...

Lets not forget some great Michael Caine classics like Get Carter,The Ipcress Files. Hammer Horror movies were superb,well most of em.

No I don't think he ever did appear in a Hammer. He did many of his films in America.

Has anyone seen 28 weeks later yet? I was abit dubious about it when I heard they were making it but the previews I've seen may have pushed me to wanting to see this one now?
Anyone care to enlighten me as to whether or not its worth watching?

ps. Princess Pooh, I wouldn't class the Harry Potter Movies as Brit movies and you can't say ANY Guy Ritchie film as "Swept Away" was a bloody disgrace!!! (IMHO)

What about Trainspotting, Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels?? (which I suppose count as a Guy Ritchie movie) they deserve their own props! Formula 51 and most of Kubrick's movies are British or at least partially British made.

Harry Potter movies are British made, they just weren't entirely filmed in the UK. Mostly UK, but some US and some Germany as well.
