The SyFy Channel is currently running a 4th of July marathon of "The Greatest American Hero" tv series.  I watched this as a kid and you would think it was from the 70's by looking at William Katt's hair.. but it was actually early 80's

The best part is that Michael Pare played one of his Ralph's students Tony.

And look Muffy .. Help Help Me Rhonda was played by Faye Grant from one of our fav movies!

I knew the show was a bit cheesy even then, but watching it now brings it to a new level.  Still great childhood fun!

I had the pilot growing up. Had to wait until DVD to see the series. Very very weak. Shame how they cut corners on effects. Wouldn't happen now. I hated the fact that the pilot on the DVD had different music, it almost ruined it for me.

This was one of my favs as a kid. I have season one on DVD, but have only got to see a couple of episodes...doesn't seem to have aged well, but great nostalga for me....
