'The Hitman & Her', perfect title for a cop show you'd think, but no, the only criminal activities on display here were some of the dance moves! compulsive Friday night viewing, energetic, toothy beauty Michaela Strachan, no longer Timmy Mallet's sidekick on Wacaday, co-presenting with pop svengali Pete Waterman, he was the hit man (see what they did there?) and she was...her.

Broadcast live from "top night spots" around the country a.k.a. some dive full of boozy clubbers, this show was pure cheese and, at the same time, an ingenious marketing tool for Waterman to showcase his acts. Michaela and ****ed revellers would dance the night away before lecherous Pete, then well into his 40s and endearingly uncool, would join in, which, even at 3 A.M., was always embarrassing, "Give it a bit of Rick Astley kid. Lets jack to the sound...Ghostbuster!" Good stuff.

Dogtanian & the three Muskerhounds, at last a bit of culture, albiet in a roundabout kind of way with cats & dogs acting like people...in France. Alexandre Dumas classic novel got a bizzare makeover in this great show which, surprisingly, remained quite loyal to the books, that Juliet was a bit of a dog though [Wink]
