Devolution here,

No, I'm not talking about the Steely Dan song, even though I love that song. I'm talking about the time honored tradition of waking up at 5 am to go shopping for christmas the day after thanksgiving.

Anyone else love it too?

My mother and sister do, but I was never one to drive around at 4 in the morning and maintain a high level through 9 at night.

I used to love Black Friday when I was a teenager and in my early 20s. Now that I'm pushing 30, standing in line at JC Penney's for 45 minutes to an hour just doesn't appeal to me! I wait till at least the Saturday after. I just don't think the big sales are worth it!

i cannot stand to be out, waiting in long lines, stuck in the middle of traffic with angry divers.....black friday blows. haha. i'll be at work, in my office, listening to christmas music, working quietly.

i'm a scrooge. [Smile]

It wasn't that bad, and it's really bad here.

I survived Walmart on Black Friday...but I didn't go until 10:00. It wasn't bad at all.

Devolution here,

I think if you read the first post I covered that. Nothing like being prepared.
