Devolution here,

Ok, I know that this is my guilty pleasure, but I was a wrestling guy for a long time. Mostly WWF/E, but I am curious to know. Are there any other DVD collectors out there amongst us? I think I remember that Motley liked NWA wrestling long ago. But after I picked up the "History of the WWE championship" I wondered if anyone else collects these? I would like to share and compare views on them.

I'm not much of a wrestling fan. I did watch it some back in the day, and George the Animal Steele was my favorite wrestler. He eventually showed his acting chops in Ed Wood.

From an 80s movies perspective, the ultimate wrestler has to be Andre the Giant - star of The Princess Bride plus The Goonies music video.

Have you ever seen the Henry Winkler movie, The One and Only? I loved it - used to watch it on cable when I was in high school. No DVD release, unfortunately.

I bought the Dusty Rhodes DVD a few weeks back. It was awesome! I wished they would release all of the Starrcades on DVD, but that'll be years on down if it ever happens since McMahon owns that now too..........

I have over 2,000 wrestling DVDs including almost every major PPV that has aired in the US from WWf/WWE, WCW, ECW, TNA, etc... I also have almost every WWF/WWE DVD commercial release and a lot of older Coliseum video releases. I have over 300 wrestling figures and boxes & boxes of wrestling magazines starting in the early 80's.
You can say I am a big wrestling fan and I have been since the early 80's.

Their are 2 great sites for wrestling talk and trading/selling that you should join.

The past two years I have acquired a few of the special box sets on certain wrestlers such as Ric Flair, Road Warriors, Dusty Rhodes, Brett Hart, Ultimate Warrior. Still a few that I would love to see get their own DVD are Rick Steamboat, Jimmy Snuka(his cage matches have to be seen to be believed), Fabulous Freebirds, Rock n ROll express and Bruiser Brody.

The Road Warriors were my favorite duo of all time. I also loved The Killer Bees.

The Road warriors were my heroes as well, they were just awesome. I loved the British Bulldogs too.

I got to meet the Road Warriors when they worked for my company back in November of 2001. Nice guys but you could tell Hawk was a little out of it.
I was able to get their comic books signed by both but didn't get a picture with them.

Also a big fan in the 80's. Stopped watching after Wrestlemania 4. I have Wrestlemania 1-4 on VHS, but would like to get just these ones on DVD....maybe even the first couple Survivor Series from the same era.
