Loved Jump Street back in the day but haven't seen it in years.

Still love the Golden Girls, I've got the first two seasons on DVD.

Never got into Cheers, yet I love Frasier

Family Ties is a great one, but I haven't seen it on DVD anywhere yet.

Family Ties...which happens to be on The Hallmark Channel here in the U.S. from 4 to 5 PM EST...why FT is not released on DVD yet is a mystery.

I watched Family Ties and Cheers religiously as a kid. I never could get into 21 Jump Street or the Golden Girls for some reason...

Out of that list, I only watched Family Ties.

I watched Golden Girls every Saturday night and Family Ties and Cheers on Thursday nights! Boy those were the days. My new favorite night shows are My Name is Earl and The Office!

I love The Office too. I thought the funniest episode this season was the Christmas one where they exchanged gifts at their Christmas gathering at the office. Steve Carrell was too much! How about last week when he was driving the forklift?!
Sorry to get off topic, I watched all of those shows except 21 Jump St.- I never saw one episode of it. No wonder I did not know who Johnny Depp was for the longest time! The rest of the shows were all great, and I still catch Golden Girls here and there- my fave was Betty White as Rose.

You should catch The 40 Year Old Virgin if you haven't already. It's Carrell at his best...

Me!! I loved Family Ties. Forgot to mention the Family Ties theme song in another post. I didn't start watching the Golden Girls until I was in college.

To bring it back to the 80s, I was never much for the TV of the era, but that's because I wasn't able to experience it first-hand.

From reruns I've seen I would have to say that I like "Night Court" myself. "Family Ties" was good when it wasn't too preachy (which wasn't too often). "21 Jump Street" was very exciting for its' time. As for "The Golden Girls" and "Cheers", for all my precocity, I just felt that those shows were too dry.

Sincerely,

John Kilduff

Nothing could be more amusing than elderly women with attitude, espeically Estelle Getty.

As a kid (and still today) I loved Family Ties. It was one of the shows that my entire family enjoyed and watched together. It is a highly-requested show for DVD, but it isn't yet available, unfortunately...

Cheers is a show my dad always watched...I thought it was OK. I don't really care for it today.

I used to watch Golden Girls all the time as a kid, but I can't get into that show these days.

I've never really paid much attention to 21 Jump St...
