I was shocked that Steven never posted that she died.

I liked her as the Grandma on Roseanne, and I loved her in the Poseidon Adventure.

My mom told me the guy who use to be the Donut guy in the Dunkin Donut commercials just died too a few weeks ago... Time to make the donuts.

I always loved those kind of commercials...like Where's the beef? They were simple, and the people that were in them were just regular every day people that became famous just for saying 1 line. But, it is funny how things like that catch on.

"Simplicity at it's finest"

Indeed, I recall that Fred the baker was beloved enough that when he wanted to retire the role, the public made it clear that he should be thanked for all his years doing it, and so "Fred" got a big retirement bash in Boston. He'll be missed. Guess we'll have to make the donuts ourselves now.

My husband still has 2 t-shirts that say "Where's the Beef?" He will not part with them!

Did you guys ever have the ads with "you're soaking in it!"?

For my high school graduation party...we got a pair of men's "bikini" underwear that said...where's the beef...and had a picture of a hamburger on the front of them.

Too bad about the Donuts guy, he was hilarious. Not too many slogan guys these days, with the exception of Howie Mandell pimping for Boston Pizza. Wonder what those Budweiser "What's up?" guys are doing?
