Australian actress Sophie Heathcote passed away today in Connecticut of an aneurysm at the age of 33. She had been fighting skin cancer.
Sophie became a star in Australia after joining the cast of "A Country Practice" in the late 80's, and remained with the show until the early 90's. She also starred on "Water Rats", "Raw FM" and "Grass Roots".

Wow that is sad, I don't think I have ever heard of her before but she was so so young.
