I'm a big INXS fan, and its not my place to judge Michael Hutchence or Paula Yates, personally, I doubt either were as bad as the gutter press made them out to be.

Now I don't mean to be disrespectful, but lets be honest here: Michael Hutchence's death was both comedic and legendary at the same time: He did it, so we don't have to...at least not to that extent.

INXS were everything rock n' roll should be and more, the outfits pretty useless without MH as frontman but back in the day: They were a force to be reckoned with.

1. Elegantly Wasted
2. Need You Tonight
3. Mystify
4. New Sensation
5. Good Times
6. The Strangest Party (These Are the Times)
7. Suicide Blonde
8. Never Tear Us Apart
9. Listen Like Thieves
10. Devil Inside

Kash, I'm in agreement that INXS kicked tassh. The tragic death of INXS's lead singer leaves us wondering what might have been.

Fav tunes:

Never Tears Us Apart

Listen Like Thieves

Suicide Blonde

Need You Tonight

Devil Inside

I am in agreement with Kash together with Valley that INXS were one of Australia's best groups.

These are my choice songs from them:

Just Keep Walking
Suicide Blonde
Don't Change
Never Tear Us Apart
Bitter Tears
Listen Like Thieves
Disappear
Original Sin
I Send A Message
What You Need
Kiss The Dirt
By My Side.

I have heard that when Michael Hutchence (alledgedly) committed suicide, then radio station managers were asked to remove "Suicide Blonde" from their playlists.

Did anybody else think it was incredibly tacky when the rest of the band had a show where they tryed to find a new singer? I think a part of my 80s soul died the day I found out about that.

I never watched it, I wonder if they're even WITH the guy they picked on the show anymore.

I'm a big INXS fan as well. My favorite tunes are:

Don't Change
Never Tear Us Apart
New Sensation
Mystify

* JD Fortune is actually from my home town in Nova Scotia (not that I'm gleaming with pride about that)...didn't know him personally, but he seems like a real A**. After JD had won Rock Star INXS, the band actually came to our very small home town and played at a local bar...I didn't even bother to go...without Michael H, no draw for me.

You're not alone, kevdugp73. In the "Herald Sun" every Thursday, they have an extra feature entitled "Hit," who have a "Hot and Not" scale. When it was announced that INXS would be auditioning for a new lead singer on a reality television show, then they put it in the "Not" section, remarking simply, "No Michael Hutchence, no INXS."

i was never a huge fan of the band, but as an original empty-vee watcher, i really liked the songs the one thing & don't change as they bring back very good memories. i'll never forget an album named shabooh shoobah.

and listen like thieves was a huge breakthough album for them.

I was never really into them either. "New Sensation" and "Never Tear Us Apart", are great tunes though.

Huge fan. I Love most of their stuff, but lately I've been listening to Kiss The Dirt (Falling Down The Mountain) more than any other of their songs.
