For a day? [Confused] I've been a rocker my whole life....oh, you mean famous one. Too tough to choose.

I think I saw Greenday back on 2002. I dont think they have released anything since 2005. I heard they are planning a world tour though...could be wrong.

It's been a while since Green Day had anything new. I did pick up their pseudo garage group Foxborro Hot Tubs which came out this year. Interesting to see where their material will go now that there is a new president, outlook, etc. Following up American Idiot won't bean easy task.

Even though I can't stand people covered in ink and some of his questionable behaviour, it would be interesting to be Tommy Lee for a while. He definetly is not deprived of female attention.

Say what? That's half the Rewind....just kidding Rip. To each his own.

The bass player for Kajagoogoo just because nobody else would pick him. The drummer for Haircut 100 would be OK too.

Angus Young would be pretty cool

Elvis? I AM Elvis... [Smile]

Ahhh, thank you very muuuuch!

Maybe I should have better reiterated my feelings on ink, I don't mind a few things here and there, but don't really like the arm or body part covered head to toe where you can't make out the design, no space whatsoever and looks like one dark mass.

Wouldn't mind being a young Nick Cave, Danzig or Johnny Rotten, thrashing about full of ***** and spite.

Dave Grohl (so I could see what it was like to usher in a new music phenomenon that took over the 90s)

Many others too probably but just had a brain freeze........

I'd like to be Bono for one day. I'd rush to record one song...with royalties going to the real me...and live off the money forever. If I made enough money...I'd fly all you rewinders to a reunion spot...and buy you all a Big Mac combo!

you would hate me, rip. [Wink]

i'd like to be morrissey. i think it would be interesting to be god for a day.

xchazx, I guess you belong in that Mike Ness, Roger Miret even Travis Barker territory. I've watched some ink incorporated shows, still doesn't get me over my fear of needles.

Being Morrissey would be nuts, fawining people grabbing you, riiping your clothing, throwing flowers and such.

Robbie Williams...because I could drink 20 espressos, 10 energy drinks, and a fifth of whisky, smoke two packs of unfiltered cigs, get in a few bar fights, and have a member of some girl band like All Saints, The Spice Girls, or Sugar Babes throw shaving cream on me and lock me out of her hotel room.

Actually, except for that last part, it would be a pretty typical day for me.

Hmm Rocker, Rocker, I'd go with Animal from The Muppets.. Rock on man!! 'ANIMAL ANIMAL'!!

Posted by ISIS (Member # 1780) on :

Riptide-I think Tommy Lee is gross...and I have no idea of his "appeal" with women...but actually look at Pam Anderson...she's so nasty...any guy that has been with her...they are lucky their _______ hasn't fallen off.

I would rethink that one.

AN-I-MAL AN-I-MAL!!!

Sorry, I'm getting a little carried away here.. Ahem..

Posted by MotleyRulz (Member # 3598) on :

Don't be hatin on Pam or Tommy. Would it be different if Pam was an infamous 80s actress or would she still be gross then?

P.S. It could have been worse he could have said Eddie Money......

Posted by Pittsburghgirl (Member # 7514) on :

I think Tommy Lee is hot, even though he has those tats, he still looks good. I don't like Pam- she is a skank. But I am guessing that if she had starred in April Fool's Day, someone may like her.
I wouldn't really want to be any rocker cuz all of the chick rockers are lame to me. None of them had the staying power that a lot of the 80's male rockers have had.

I don't care which one, as long as I can crimp my hair again!

Don't get me started with crimped hair EleanorJune. [Big Grin]

Posted by EleanorJune (Member # 7024) on :

Why? Is it one of those things that you can't stand? Or what?

Sadly enough I still have a crimper and have worn my hair like that in the studio before! It is such a conversation starter.

Actually...Pam Anderson was pretty when she was really young-before she ever disfigured herself, but she was always skanky...becoming a celebrity just enhanced everything about her.

I don't want to be Eddie Money either...it was cool to hang with him, but his life was nothing I'd want...we all agreed that we were all doing much better than that.

There actually isn't anyone I'd trade my own life for.

I really love Stevie Nicks music, but she's had a rough life at times too, and I wouldn't have wanted to have gone through alot of the stuff she did.

Posted by Riptide (Member # 457) on :

I always had a soft spot for Pam, but I can understand the strife with her track record with men( just about every tatooed, rebellious rocker who came down the pike), and her adult movies with Tommy. I guess I used to like her when she was on Home Improvement. She should do more comedy, there was a cancelled sitcom of her's last year that I liked.

Quite the opposite....I've praised the crimper on many occasions since joining here. Nothing is hotter than crimped hair on women....in my opinion.
